That stuff is junk. Expensive junk at that! My dad had his frame sand blasted, then he painted it with that stuff. It started to rust within 2 years. He followed all the directions, used the etching crap and what not. I painted one of my s10 frames with thinned out tremclad in my spray gun. I sold it before it started to rust. That was about 3 thick coats, plus one thick coat of tremclad red oxide primer. This is however just my opinion. -------------------- Mike

I have a friend that say's it works great but, the piece that is getting painted has to be rusty. I am just going by what he said and others said about it. I haven't used it myself. I just paint my frame with rock guard but it starts to peel after a year or 2. Plus I wouldn't spend that much. There's alway something that is better and cheaper. Thanks for filling me in on the stuff. -------------------- Mike

If you're down to a bare frame, have it galvanized. We did it on our PROJECT ROME jeep frame. $150 while you wait. Had it done at Galvcast in Acton.
